Saturday 01/20 the western pa hardwater tournament series is having a panfish tournament
Best 10 panfish weight
80 dollar entry for a 2 person team  10 dollar optional lunker
Registration from 5-7 am at chestnut street launch

They have been on fire this year....better spend the extra $10. I hear the bite is on - and I saw something on Facebook about the "stinkhole". I try to stay away from the stinkhole. Nice try Facebook.....almost had me.

Is there someone who benefits from this tournament ?? Wasn't sure if money goes to charity, or if this is a direct payout ? Who is it put on by ?

To all you guys complaining about the entry fee.  First place took 800 dollars and lunker took 200 dollars  they also paid up to fifth cash.   I believe fifth took 130 and up from there.  Could buy a real nice steak dinner with that.  Their next tournament is at kahle lake on February 3rd  the winner gets more with more teams that enter.  I know I'll b there for a chance 2 win that much money...

Still about a foot  the top went from glass to a little soft. Nothing lost except where the ice breaker boat was.

I fished Misery Bay today, pretty good bluegill bite on Jigs/Waxworms, lots of guys fishing.  Ice was about 10 inches
