Heading to Bass Lake tomorrow
« on: Jan 12, 2018, 09:36 PM »
Not much as far as fishing reports from Bass lake this year so we’re going to give it try!!
Over the years we’ve caught a lot of fish there.
If anyone wants to join my buddy and I, we’ll be heading out from the public ramp around 1:30pm or so cst.

We sure will Tom.
The main reason we decided on that lake.
Planning on fishing 6’ or less for eyes if we can find the weeds in that desert.
Maxi and Bruce were in our top 3 lakes, but the current conditions dictated our choice.

That's why you haven't heard anybody talk about it because no one is fishing it you will have the whole light to yourself. I was told by the local bait shop that no one can find weeds and that they don't sell bait to hardly anyone going to Bass Lake.

Check the navionics app out. I know they have a detailed map of that lake and where everything usually hangs. I’d sent you the pic but I can’t seem to pull it up at work

The last 3 years, they have been spraying that lake to kill weeds. Its turned merky and vacant. The fishing AND duck hunting has dwindled from it.

I scouted it yesterday for geese, all 5 access points to the lake looked soft, one even had open water near by.

Good luck and stay safe!
Got one goin'!
