What’s the snow level? How much water were you in? I’d love to get down there with my shanty and Atv!

fished south of the champlain CP bridge for a couple hours tody. I would stay a few hundred yards away from the bridge with ATV. had 4 inches ice close to the bridge 8+ everywhere else. the person whose tracks were out there is very very lucky. very few fish. couldnt complain about the weather.

Nice weather at least! Probably don’t want to be out there for a bit after we get rain and heavy snow.

I fished both North of the bridge and south of the bridge on Monday. Easy access but there was water coming in over the shoreline ice just south of the bridge. Much more when I went back in then when I went out. The ice is fine 7" - 12" in MOST spots. I did find some thin ice, 3"-4", almost dead center. It wasn't consistently thin which actually made it worse. Water was very cloudy and strong current due to all the runoff lately. North of the bridge small whites lots of them, south NADA. I think that cloudy water and strong current have the fish sitting for a while. This is such a volatile area you should always have safety gear with you. Good luck!

Went there for my first time on Monday. Marked a ton of fish but no takers :( Hope you have better luck!!! About 2-300 yards north of the bridge is about 50ft deep. Ice seemed good, however, we drilled some holes closer to the bridge and the current was pushing the water right out onto the ice. Crazy!!
