smallmouth

Any lakes or ponds in the Salem area that have a good amount of smallmouth. I'm not asking for someones spots just a little info. Thanks ;D

Canobie & Big Island are two great places, you also got Cobbetts, Captain's Pond, World End Pond and Arlington Mill Res.
Up the road from ya you got Beaver Lake and Massabesic lake in Auburn.

lost a nice smallmouth a few weeks ago on Cobbetts but I've never caught one ice fishing

I caught a 4lb 21" smallie on Cobbetts last year.  A friend of mine caught a 6lb smallie on Cobbetts 2 years ago.

wow those are some quality smallmouth Did you catch those on the small or big part of the pond?
