Title: HOOKING THE MINNOW

All right, I know I have experimented hooking my bait many ways. My favorite is either thru the mouth and out the top part of the head, behind the dorsal fin, by the anus, thru the eyes, or thru the lips. What seems to work best 4 u? also, what is ur favorite?

I always start out with two styles, one under dorsal fin and one through eyes, let the fish decide which i stick with, i think its about 50/50 and sometimes it dont matter at all, im talking about crappie minnies by the way

90% of the time its in the back. other wise threw the lips or eyes.  if im pegging to the bottom, like on a jig head, ill anal fin hook them.

Through the mouth and out the head is my favorite way.  Through the eyes second choice :icefish:

Just behind the lips or on a slow day through the meat of the tail

jigs/hooks - through the jaw out the top of the head

tip ups - just behind the dorsal fin with point just through the scales/skin.
