Take a kid fishing.

Kids that hunt, fish, and trap don't rob anyone's grandma!

I work 2 weeks on 2 weeks off and little momma works 2 weeks on and 1 week off so we don't get a lot of time off to spend with each other and the kids.  Oh well, we make it work and pay the bills (read student loans...) so we can keep on keeping on.

A decent fishing season. I don't think that's asking too much

I'm fairly certain there's a Marcum under my tree from the GF.  I certainly don't know for sure but dang that would be sweet! My only clues are that it feels the same (weight and balance) as the one I was checking out in the store that had the packaging still on it, she looked sneaky returning to that aisle after I had moved on the gun section, and when she was showing me a pic on her phone I saw something that said lx-5 in the other pics.  :)  I'd be stunned if she spent that kind of coin on this ol' coyote.  Would it be wrong to unwrap it and fish with it during the day while she's at work? Of course I'd put it back! lol

Last year my wife got me a nice pair of xcountry skis and boots. This year she'll be getting snow packs bibs and a rod/reel combo. Figured what could've better than getting her on the ice for a half day of fishin and a half day of xcountry skiing. Her gift becomes my gift...and the couple of machine guns...thanks pikeman I almost forgot about those.

I think I maybe getting a strike lite auger I hope. Told GF talk to parents to split it with them that is all I wanted. Her and her son never really ice fished before and he is super excited to go. So I bought him a guardian floating suit and her a striker prism suit along with some kahtoola spikes. I got her other stuff too, but got them this to help out my own Christmas as I will enjoy them going with me.
