I clean mine in the garage. The challenge I find is getting rid of the guts. I usually put them in a double bag and put them out in my shed and hope I remember to put them out with the trash on Tuesday but I often forget!!! Any solutions for this?

I spread the guts and scraps onto my garden and plantings in freezing weather. The cold air dehydrates the fish scraps in just a few days leaving very light and non stinking fertilizer carcases. YES, i HAVE A FEW PARTS SCATTERED BY THE LOCAL CRITTERS. But in Spring the mower picks it up and it goes back into the garden or mulch pile.
In summer I have a couple 6' dia. mulch piles where I dump the guts and cover with older mulch dirt and then grass clippings. That might stink a bit but not for long. The heat from the mulch blanket cooks the fish in a couple days. I have tried burying the carcases but the coons dig it up and make a mess. The critters don't like cooked fish carcasses.
A friend tried to get me to dump all my guts into a lidded barrel with water. He said that a few cups of that liquid around each plant would make the garden lush with greenery. I PASSED.

I clean mine on the kitchen countertop.  Then the filets go into the sink for a 2nd going over.  The guts are double bagged and go into the garage freezer until trash day.

I have pretty much the same set up as abishop.  I whack 'em on the head out side then fillet them on a cutting board right by the
kitchen sink.  I have a plastic lined gut bucket that gets dumped into the compost pile if the ground is thawed and a dog to clean up
what scraps miss the bucket.  When done I clear the drain of scales and "googus" and then make a dilute bleach solution to disinfect
the whole area to keep the place smelling like a proper kitchen. Then I count my fingers, hoping I get to 10, and call it a day....

fish on,

i made a table about elbow high that 4 guys can stand at and whip thru the fish.  in garage with the Mr heater dual sunflower heater going.  crack a few beers and crank some tunes and it is hard getting the guys to leave.  guts go into the bucket and kids take them down to the ditch or if in the summer into the freezer until trash day. when i hit the lottery i am going to design a big shop/cleaning station around where the boat will sit strategically located next to the cleaning station.

Kitchen but I have to make sure everything is spotless after I'm done or I'll hear about it from the wife. So far so good.

Lay newspapers down and fillet them on those.  No sink needed.  Fish in a bucket and carcasses go into other bucket.  Wad up newspaper when done and place in bucket.

Nice looking setup Rairdog.  Nothing beats a free fish cleaning sink.  I have a longer stainless sink my dad found on a jobsite they were throwing out.

Heated garage. I have a fish cleaning table from bass pro set up in there. When I'm not cleaning fish on it I use it to store my fishing gear.

Kitchen on the cutting board. I line the board with either grocery bags, butcher paper or whatever cardboard is laying around.
Throw the carcasses in a bucket and sling em in the woods at the back of the north 40.
Clean everything real good. Better half never complains, especially when she's eating perch or walleye!

I guess I have it good, because when I let the wife know I'm on my wat, she gets the table out, lines it with newspaper and has me a bowl with water. Then she wipes off the fish, I clean them and then I'm done. She washes the fish and vacuum seals them and puts them in the freezer. Then she cleans the table with scrubbing bubbles and puts it away too. Love her!!!!!

In the winter on the kitchen counter. When it's warm enough I have a old picnic table right beside my garden. Carcasses all go straight in garden and buried. I get tomatoes as big as softballs.

I have one of those folding fillet tables from Cabelas. It has a sink and faucet and is plenty big enough. During the summer I keep it outside and hooked up to the hose. In the winter I keep it in my workshop and use a bucket. I make sure I clean it up good and then I wipe it down with clorox, it doesn't smell after that. I toss the slime water out the back door into the garden.
