bass or maxi
« on: Jan 27, 2017, 04:58 AM »
Anyone know if there is enough open water to launch a boat at either place. I don't go past these lakes unless I am going 2 fish them. I have seen a bunch of other lakes that are completely open. May think about putting boat in somewhere Saturday if not working. Think ice is going to return but wont be safe enough 4 me till 2nd week in Feb. (Maybe, if the extended weather holds true).

I took the boat out on maxi this past tuesday and there was no ice on the lake. The water temp was 37 and the fishing was pretty slow going. Caught 8 bass and 2 perch. Unfortunately not a single walleye. Hope this helps.

I was at bass lake sunday. The "southwest" bay was completely open except a small section of the northwest end of it. (North of hillbilly beach).

I did not go look at the other bay of the lake up by the park. Plenty of room to play on the lake.
Got one goin'!
