loads of pike in there too.  you can get a real workout running for flags. lol  used to be some 15-20# channel cats in there also.

I have a place to park on the west end. How far is that from where they fish?

west side lil chapman is swamp. south end, there is a channel mouth that would be worth a look around.

There is some deeper water in the bay on the west side. In front of the channels on the South end I have taken perch but they are of the dink variety. There are some big gills on that end though. In front of the channel on the north end is a good spot for crappie.

Thanks for the info! Hopefully it gets cold again so I can do some recon.
