actually alot of the bays and cuts in whitefish point (lake superior) can be allright. theres alot of good places along the st.maries river down towards neebish island and barbaeu. drummond can be ok..alot of good ice at least. i dont know to much about inland waters up there though....cross the border as well...tons and tons and tons of lakes..alot of awsome fishing.

The bay out in front of the By Mills casino can be good for PERCH and White fish.

Hey phantastickfish..... I believe you talked to my brother the other day. There aren't really that many places right around the soo to fish unless you go to canada. Theres mosquito bay for whitefish if it ever freezes and munuscong down to drummond island but i have never fished there. I think we are going down to caribou lake down by de tour today to try things out.

phantanstickfish,   have you tried munuscong bay area.   Was out over the weekend and landed a few perch, no walleyes however.  Ice was around 3 in thick in the bay.  I love to fish if you need someone during week days to get out with let me know. :)

i went to lssu also and i found that Monocle Lake is a good lake for walleye. we fished it at night with tipups, out in front of the beach a little ways till you hit the drop off. we always caught walleyes there at night and some pike during the day.
