Love the saw blade, very nice!
This is like the 5th time my pond has refroze this year, the Red winged blackbirds aren't very happy. Could probably walk on it this morning if it wasn't Monday.

I know Freddie!! First season I haven't been out there once with walleye gear this winter. We will have some catching up to do this spring...that's for sure

Bass, crappie, and channel cats is what I stocked. It does need to be thinned out a little.....

. An ancient snapping turtle showed up a few years ago, need to get him or her relocated. I'm afraid this snow will put a stop to the walking on water for now. We're getting hammered.....

FYI - at the OLA annual meeting on May 3rd there is going to be a speaker talking about the many ship wrecks on Oneida lake. There are dozens of them from sailboats to tug boats to tour boats. This subject is fascinating to me. It should be a great presentation.

reel I find the subject fascinating myself and I done a lot of research on the subject ,what originally caught my interest was the fact that we had a inland body of water with so many ship wrecks and they dated back to the 1500's, another unknown fact about Oneida lake is that years ago it was said to be home of a lake monster like nessy or champ on champlain ,one morning i was on the lake and another boat was fishing rather close to me .....i noticed a strange wake then i could not believe what i seen! the most hideous creature i have ever seen rose out of the water and attacked the other boat! even tho i was petrified with fear,somehow i was able to get a picture of the beast ...later i was told it was the famous oggo pogo .........

you simply can not deny evidence like this

A great book that I have read is The Tales of Oneida Lake, by Jack Henke. If you guys want a good read, check it out!!😎

when of the most interesting things I found out and this is true battle island in fulton ....the island not the golf course ,was where ethan allen was wounded during the French indian wars the story is amazing and to think I been fishing there since I was a tad pole

You know the history of the island in Pheonix between town and the car dealership? Towards 3 rivers.... I had heard arrowheads were found there as well. I think it's Stowell Island?? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Well today is it for me on this tropical 🌴 ice ,ended up with 32 hard earned perch , lots of sorting but I'm not complaining, I'll get a few meals out of them , already looking forward to next year , everyone have a great spring thru fall
