Walleye rigs?????

If you had to choose only one walleye rig for the rest of your life, what would it be?  Thanks Dinga Ling

M.S.P.

regarding the jigging rapala - What size and color do you think works best?  The things are a little spendy to use a trial and error approach.

you cant go wrong with a perch pattern. thats what i mostly use. i remember reading that rrfish was using one with a small chunk of raw shrimp on the bottom hook. i have never tried baiting them with anything other than maggots, or even just bare has worked too.

In the summer, drift a leach on a hook with a single red bead above it.  Works like wonders.

Berkly makes a florecent colored perch crank bait I've had good luck with in the summer. dives at a perfect angle, and has a bit of a rattle in it.  Other then that, dragging crawler harnesses has worked somewhat, and putting a crawler on a plastic fake worm w/ lead head hook and jigging that seems to work sometimes too.  Yahoo, thats all my walleye secrets. take em for what there work.

Summer - Lindy Rig drifted or backtrolled with a fathead, leach or crawler. Fat Raps and Husky Jerks especially in perch, walleye and trout imatationst trolled or casted into shore.
Winter - Jigging rap, or spoon tipped with minnow head.  Live minnows if allowed either on tip-up lightly rigged or lindy rig with floating jighead a foot off bottom.
