2008's Last Hurray

Well it seems that the 2008 ice wars have come to a close. Just a few pictures of the "legends" last day at the ole' faithful Stump Pond. Tough photo but here is tightline with a 4lb 6oz, and he finally got to play with
(t)his pickeral on the ice. Lots of laughs guys...had a great time this season, fishing was great, but the laughs and hanging out with the Stumpers on ole' faithful was priceless.......

I think even the secret cove may be done.  There IS next season.  Thanks everyone, especially THASS and comeonnow (team bud light) for a great season.   Mike, RIFISH (& little fish), Flik n Dip (Mike and Jake), Pikemaster, & tightlines...  it was awesome fishing with you this year.  I look forward to hooking up with the shanty boys more often next season.  I know where the first ice will be

You guys are giving up to easily. I walked out on the ice today at one of our favorite little ponds in west glocester. I'm still hoping i can get out on Sunday. I'll chech again after the rain on Sat. and let you know.

Easy guy's low pm temps next week, just go slow with the hand pick if you can put it through five to six inches of ice with one shot then you know your close to being done go slow and don't go alone!!! Maybe I'm just sick!!!!  Time to separate the men from the boy's or the sick from the very sick!
