Each year I set a date and hope for safe ice to get out and fish on

. Does anyone else

? This year I have chose January 7, 2013. Now if it comes any sooner of course it's a BONUS

like it did 2 yrs. ago! And when it came it stayed! I am hoping the same for this year 2013! I hope everyone had a great summer! I am done with it, it's time to move into winter! And not a winter like last year!

I hope to make my first trip to New Hampshire to visit and icefish with my brother in 2 or 3 weeks to our favorite little brown trout fishery and also out to one of the set backs on the CT river.
