I went out solo today.  What a long day!  The only thing I caught was a sun burn!  How is everyone else doing?  What depth should I be targeting?  Thanks for any input.

We were out on Lake Winnipeg, fishing in about 7 fow (from bottom of ice).  Did pretty well, several over 27".  I'm finding every bigger fish we've been getting has been coming right off the bottom to take our lures.  Last few times on the river we've caught in 17 feet or 6-8 feet of water.  There's a post on here somewhere that has depth maps from the city limits all the way to the mouth (just incase you don't have a flasher/depth finder) that will make life a bit easier. 

It's a big river, plenty of places.  Actually have had some good luck within the city lately also.

Andy, those maps would be an asset.  I have a depth finder / flasher but it would save time with the map instead of making the river look like swiss cheese!
