Title: northern indiana ice
Post by: CL_Outdoors on Mar 05, 2020, 12:58 PM
I'm curious to hear what yall think about what this week's weather did to the ice (where there was a good amount of it)... last weekend up at Clear there was about 8" of total ice - 2" of crap ice on top of 6" of good ice.
My guess is that even though it's been warm with a little rain, that good ice will still be intact and fishable ~5-6" total ice. Plus, it's been getting to freezing temp or below every night this week.
Heading up there tomorrow for one last hoorah if anyone wants to hammer the perch with me (given that there's good ice)

Unless you have planks you more then likely wont get near the ice. Shores were almost completely gone yesterday morning
