I think it's been eight years since I've fished through the ice but buddies from out-of-town wanted to go fishing. We cleaned up the gear and added some fresh line to the reels. Slow day but one fish for me.

My boys really wanted to try our luck for pike with a hotdog on the tip-up. My ol lady picked up a pack of dogs for 89 cents and we picked up a little 7.8lb snot rocket with one. Boy howdy, them were some super stoked kids!

Had a great day with the kids at east fork by lewistown. Daughter for her first ice fishing fish and I set a new personal best perch for the lake at 10.5 inches and got my first pike for the lake at 22 inches on a tip up. Couldn't have asked for anything better!
