Bait

If I am in Shelburne/South Burlington what is the closest spot for bait.  I want to get out this week onto the Bay with my family.  Thanks for the help I am not up on the new rules.  thanks

IMO your best bet would be to drive more noth and hit the Islands.  On your way up stop in at Dockside and get your bait. Cant go wrong there....jim s

ace hardware in mallets bay has bait, place on silver st in hinesburgh, and there is a otter creek bait in vergennes on basin harbor rd are the closest unless u go up towards the islands. good luck, flags hi!

Bait at ace has been small this year....was told dockside had large goldens.....was disappointed in the size.....no difference between large and mediums.....could have been just a fluke.

You must have come before bait was delivered. We have had a below average year for bait I agree. But we have nice bait now! The Best I have seen this year.

I do have to say bait from Dockside that I have got so far this year has held up alot better then the bait I have got from  Ace in past years. More life to them and have had 0 die offs. Whle pike or perch fishing in the past i would have  bunch of bait dieoff. NOT this year. But sometime dead bait is bes for Pike......jim s
