Last walleye of the season
« on: Feb 28, 2021, 03:59 PM »
Got out early this morning.  Fished from 5:30AM to 2PM.  Caught two slimers and one 17.5” walleye (released).  Marked only a couple other small fish that had zero interest.  I’ve caught more walleye through the ice this year than all other years combined.  Now I’m ready for some open water bass and bluegill.

Nice job Shawn, you would have to wait a little bit for open water though.

Thanks Hiep.  I could probably use a break until it heats up a bit.

I wanted to try Atown again but wasn’t sure about the ice so I stayed up north.

You did catch a ton of eyes through the ice this year Shaun. Now we just got to get you out on the rocks at night for the walleye spawn throwing some jerks. You’ll be hooked in no time.

Sounds fun.  Might need to revisit my 8:45PM bedtime.
