I had my first successful day this season. Definately took trial and error to find a lake that has a healthy population of them. I seemed to have my best luck with very small hali jigs or spoons with spikes on them, and slowly reel up and let them chase it kind of like a laker, but much slower. Seemed to work best with a very smooth reel, medium action rod (need a bit of backbone for a better hookup average) and a spring bobber. Not very fun, but they were tasty and easy to clean
