Just got off south sand lake which is a private lake no public access so you need to know someone to fish there, Ive got a friend that let us fish there today and we hit the gills. average 7-1/2 - 9 inch big fat one in water 7-15 ft using spikes on small jig head. are total take home count was 36 in three hours caught them in the middle of the lake which has a sand bar we fished just off that. look for the smile dish for a land mark.
