Your hottests three depths
« on: Dec 27, 2005, 01:17 AM »
If you have been fishing eye's for quite some time, and you are like me you get great confidence in certain exact depths. I really have great faith in 17', 22' and 30'

What are your hottest three depths?

This year it's been 17', 18' and 19'. lol. These are the depths I've fished at my buddies shack. The bottom is fairly flat there and he can't find the drop off thats apparently there  ::) It doesn't matter it's produced enough 'eyes so far this year.
pour me another one, I'm finished with the other one

Walleye are always on the move......I have caught em' through the ice and on soft water in 3 to 70 FOW. I like to start in about 10 - 20 Feet of water and move on from there....Mostly being the Ottawa River in search for eyes, I lie to stay in the 12 - 18 - 22 Feet of water.
