FG 1/26-1/29 updated with pics

Heading up to do some burbot and Laker fishing Thursday afternoon the 26th thru Sunday the 29th. Looks like the ice is progressing south and believe it or not Lucerne capped also. I got some better maps made up of where we will be staying on the ice if any one can make it up and wants to meet up, shoot me a PM. The plan is to do some burbot/pup fishing around the camp spot at night and head into big bend after some Lakers during the day. Man is it going to be a long week and a half

 Its defiantly going to be a long few days. So far looks like good weather for driving up i hope it holds. A friend and i will be leaving Thursday aswell.

Got the new 10" bit I made a trade to slapfish for put on the auger finally and its looking good. Hoping to pull some worthy lakers thru that big ole hole. Wheelers chained up and ready to go also  :thumbsup:, with prospector staying up there all week he should have the trails around the pressure ridges figured out pretty good by the time we get there. 75 hours and counting

Map's sent, sorry to text you so late. Been pretty busy trying to get stuff together and dealing with all this snow we're getting. On a good note my snow blower is getting some good use this winter

Ok so it snowed over a foot in Green river yesterday and they closed Hwy. 530 from Green river to the Utah border. Now I was pretty pissed until a few texts with pok3. He did confirm it was closed but said it should be opened back today no probs. I also had a few texts with prospector and he was actually eating lunch in town when it was coming down and must have headed back to buckboard before they closed it. He said it didn't snow nowhere as much at the lake than in town so its still all good  :thumbsup: Looks like we are still on schedule to be out here on or before 10am  :woot: :woot:

The road is now open; I just checked the road conditions. Be safe while traveling.

What a great trip everyone, nobody got the skunk and plenty of a hurting put on some burbs and pups. Man it felt good to be back in my bed than the cot for the last 3 days. So worth every minute though. I'll get to resizing some pics and what not after I get the stuff unpacked and honey do's done. Thanks to everyone that showed it was great putting faces to names and hanging again with the usual crowd

Agreed....great to meet everyone and put names to faces. Thanks for making my first trip to the Gorge a blast. Only complaint is that I now have to listen to my son give me a hard time about not taking him along!

Sorry! Never made it by Buckboard to say Hi. We fished Sat/Sun further down the lake. Matt said you all had a good time, glad to hear it all went well and it was a safe trip. Hope to see a few of you in a couple weeks at Pineview if the weather holds and does not get to warm.
