Weekend fishing contest
« on: Jan 04, 2013, 07:09 PM »
Post pictures of your weekend haul this weekend. In order to know you took the picture this weeeknd place a monitary note $1,5,10,20,100 or a penny if you spend all your bills on fishing gear, whichever you want. Any spiecies, any water(through the ice only). We can debate the winner next week. :) Winner gets braggin rights for the week. Deadline 11:59PM sunday. Lets see em!

Actually Philly you might be good according to the rules. You have a bungy holding the blade cover on so that could possibly mean you spend all your money on fishing gear. What do the judges say?

Auger recoil broke after three holes Saturday morning pretty much ruined the day. Did get into some gills and a few crappies late in the day but was so upset I forgot the contest.

Had two smaller muskies and two pig musky up to the hole today on light tackle. 4 lb test =no entry and loss of 4 jigs for this guy. :-\

I went from 10:30 to 1:30 today. Not even a nibble. I get my marcum tomorrow tho. I'm hoping that helps  :)

Not too much to ponder and debate.  Esox_magnum takes it in my opinion.  Nice perch!   I'm guessing that was a lot of hard work locating all those.  Great job!  Have heard the perch bite is turning at the IGL's.  You're proof it's true.

Philly's walleye was nice too.  Personally, I'm a walleye kinda girl.  But the vote had to go to the perch.

Thanks for sharing pics!  Wish there were more...

Just spitballing here but maybe we can get this pinned at the top of the page and have a weekly contest. Each week we can use a different item in the picture. Could call it the crappy fisherman of the week. :)

Honestly all but 7 of the 79 the wife and I caugt were out of the same 4 holes both days, we pulled out to some old icons and decided to start there and see what happens....Most the other 80 or so our group caught was out of holes 15 feet away....We had 6 guys 110 perch Saturday, 4 in the morn Sunday with 2 leaving and 3 others came out around noon for a total of 73 on Sunday but the afternoon bite saw terrible...

How are you liking the Black Betty 6061?  I want one soooo bad but I just can't bring myself to pay what they're going for on eBay now.  I think I'll wait and pick one up early next season.

Love the 6061, drops a jig faster than most our spinning gear and super smooth... Wish I had pre ordered 2-3 instead of just 1.....

I just bid on a couple 6061's on ebay. bid was at $130.  took it up the 170 and was still out bid.  looks like I will be waiting till next year.

 Just looked at them on E Bay sad that Reeds claim they are sold out yet have one on E Bay for $175.... Guess I wont buy from them again...
