Clark Canyon...Ice 12" solid

Just got back...12" thick... solid and clear, ice solid right up to shoreline, even saw an ATV blasting around by the island. Caught a couple Ling. Heading back Sat, enjoy while its safe.......

Boats on the open water.  Flyfisherman at the south shore.  I measured 11" at the dam on Saturday.  Didn't mark a fish or get a bite so in the words of Marshal Cogburn, "I bow out".  I think the Dead Sea of SW MT has won this round but I'll be back for open water if I can find a boat.
