 any reports of open water will be getting the boat out to chase some perch since the Ice season is/was a bust.The xtended forcast does't look good for making any serious ice either. any reports appreciated

I can remember a winter around eight years ago, A-bomb and I  were fishing from his boat on wawasee in Jan.  Had a few weeks of ice in Dec, then it was gone and never came back that winter.

I too would like an update on the see.  Only made it out there once last fall and the freezer is in need of some perch !!!

i remember that year we were also on wawsee in the boat and we found a good number of perch in 32 fow fishing 8-10 foot down with minnows and then ran out of bait
