Prospector, great looking jigs and soft plastics. I can see why you had good luck with them for the burbot. @)
I agree, it always feels better to catch fish on a lure, jig or rig you designed yourself. ;)
Neat crayfish catch to. :)

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I was very happy with the tubes and will definitely be adding them to the arsenal. They even did pretty good on the Lake Trout as well. I hope to fish in your neck of the woods one day? What species do you like to target up there? Also, what type of tackle craft are you into?
Tight lines!

Hi prospector,
In the winter time, I usually fish for pike, walleye and burbot. Sometimes I also go for rainbow trout and perch.
In the summer, it's generally the same pike and walleye, but, I also like to try new species.
Last year for the first time I caught channel catfish and freshwater drum.
Carp are fun to. @)
As for lures I make my own loop and Y rigs for ice fishing or under a float.

I sometimes buy just a plain brass casting spoon or lead head jig and add my own paint job to those.
For the open water I tie my own walleye spinner rigs and now catfish rigs.
I am a wood carver, so, I though I would combine the faces I carve, with fishing lures.

I call them water wizards, as they work like magic. ;)
This one's a dropper rig.

Here are a few more fishing related items I made.

Absolutely incredible workmanship! If you ever want to do some trading or would sell some, I would very much enjoy one or two of the Wizards. They are definitely a great lucky looking item to have around. Once again, totally cool 😎
