Nils Auger Sharpening
« on: Sep 16, 2015, 08:10 AM »
I know there is someone in Mass that sharpens Nils but no return calls , so I went to Frank Deluca who was also recommended. He answered his phone and I sent it out to him. The service was prompt and was glad to get ahead of the curve for this winter. It was worth a little extra postage from CT!

You should add your location to your profile .

Do you have a Telephone number or an address  for Delucca .. lot of chatter on the Nils this year.

As an alternative, Robinson saw in Michigan does a great job I've had them sharpen 4 sets of nils and they last as long as a brand new blade.

They do a great job. Guy is a landscaper and makes extra cash in the winter sharpening blades. I hon estly thought they were sharper coming back than they were brand new. Charges 20 bucks a blade.
A couple years ago I hit a boulder under the ice and actually warped the head. He said to send it anyway and hed let me know. About 4 days later I get a box in the mail. He was able to straighten it, and he still only charged me 20 bucks.   class act.
