Had a frost last night, but probably the last one of the year.  The count down begins.
Bring on the ice!!!!!!!  <br />

May be a while before the bigger schools of stripers make it up that far as we are still waiting for them here in NJ. The schoolies are starting to become more frequent but no biggins yet.

Also, no new ice being made in NJ yet. But soon.

Heading north....  Gonna see if there's any ice left.

Hmm, server time here is off an hour now, too.

I'm still on ice here in north central BC but I have to head up to the mountains as low level is getting a little soft and a little open water around the shore. High level should be good for another 5-6 weeks but tough slug getting up there.

I could still icefish now, but it would be a pain to snowshoe in like 20 miles. I live in western colorado FYI
if anybody from michigan will help me out with the lakes and stuff up here I'd really appreciate it since I'm new to the area.

Arch, I don't think that snow will help out to much. Looks like we'll have to wait about 8 months to make it back out on the ice (even tho I plan on rigging my tip-ups for open water fishing on my private lake in PA  :)), unless you have access to a 1 acre freezer and if thats the case let me know where, I'll bring the auger and some beers.

My report in Pa. at 8am is 63 degrease. I think I heard Ice forming on our goldfish pond this morning ???. I think we should get together ind look for a very cold weather pond like mike said, and buy some freezer compressor's to put in it.
