Classic Frabill Tip-ups

Does any one use frabills new classic Tip-ups?  Are they any good.

I use beaver dam but those almost look identical plus I like the little spring they have on the "t"

i think the classics are a decent copy of the beaver dams, but they are only a copy. if you are thinking of buying a classic, spend the extra ten bucks and get the best! no other tipup is as smooth as an arctic fisherman!

When playing with the classic in Fleet Farm I noticed a lot of shaft wobble.  Have never noticed this on my Beaver Dam.

Agree with trapdaddy on this one and never trust a plastic spool in sub-zero temps. That spring is for tension control on the shaft to control backlash.I,m sure they are good for the occasional fisherman but if you put alot of time in on
them they will fail (Polar,plastic frame)haven't used the Frabil but that spring is one more thing to fail in my opinion,I'm sticking with my Beavers! :'( :'( :'(
