Hey, yea so I’m gunna go out on a limb and try my luck  ;D

Can anyone suggest ONE decent lake around p g or close to it for some laker fishing??

 Any hints is much appreciated lol

go to anglersatlas.com .  select location, species and hit discover destinations and voila.  5 lakes come up within 100 km.

Fraser lake
- Two lakes that u can drive rite to the shore and easily fish from that have lakers in em..
~its not over till its soft, --- "tfg".

x2 on Fraser lake. Try jigging a buzz bomb along any of the rocky bluffs. The lakers aren't huge but we have caught some nice ones through the ice there.

Has anyone been to Fraser lake? I have never Ice fished it, should be good enough ice for a sled I’m thinking?

ya itll have tons of ice, be able to sled all over it rite now. Some big ling in there as well.

Yeah Fraser is great starter option.

Another resoucre if your looking to get really technical is Habitat Wizard. Its a map-based tool that allows users to spatially access detailed fish, wildlife and ecosystem information online.
The info can lead to a skunkin for sure but from time to time you are rewarded and its fun to explore.
