trapping shiners in a pond or lake

if i want to trap a drop off from 5 to 9 feet or more is it worth my time, or just stay in the shallow holes up in the flats of coves and edges

find the weeds ,pipes flowing water go shallow first. ;)
Keep busting those holes and re-baiting those Indian Hill's

Try small golf course types of ponds might take you a while to find a good one but once you do your set. this was two pots in one pond for two days .
no flag just a perch doin a drive by
