It's been a long summer without any fishing. With moving from one state to another, getting a new house built and then moving in (not finished unpacking yet) trying to get the yard leveled and grass planted (hasn't happened yet), 5' weeds mowed down, garage insulated(nope, not that either) to say nothing of having to take a trip back out to Montana and one down to Houston and then WORK! Yep it's been a long summer without fishing. Come on freeze so I about yard work so I can take time to fish!
Getting a taste of winter here at work, currently at 72 03'37.08 N by 22 00'17.71E which puts me out in the Barents Sea north of Norway about half way between Tromso and Hammerfest, just about as far north as Prudhoe Bay Alaska. It's been hanging around 35 for the last week.
