Eskimo F1 Rocket
« on: Jan 22, 2018, 06:12 PM »
Have been looking at electric augers lately as I'm getting too old to lug around my older 43cc Eskimo. Still runs like a champ but weighs a ton. Just saw the 8" F1 Rocket at Reed's for $289.99 with free shipping. That's over half what an electric costs. Was wondering if anyone has any reviews of the F1. I'm really close to pulling the trigger on this. 22 lbs. Can't say electrics are lighter anymore. Never heard anything bad about Eskimo and 5 year warranty to boot.
Don't fall in. Unless it's a big one.

I just bought this last week. I used it last weekend and it works great. Ripped through 20 inches of ice no problem! And it is really light which was one of my biggest draws.

Been out with mine several times this year. About a hundred holes or more without a hitch. Starts easy and cuts well. So far, so good.
