That was me, NHHARDWATER and another members who's name is escaping me. Pretty nasty out there, but the bite was good and I left with about 3 buckets of fish.

One side of hathaway is broken up about 10' out..other side is on it's way. Main ice is surprisingly decent...just getting on is the issue.  Long boards will extend the season a few days to a week or so.  Pressure crack is 10' wide in spots.

That was pickerelslayer and I right next to you in the Clam.  We probably ended up with 2 1/2  buckets before we headed out around 11.  They were biting well but we really didn't feel like cleaning anymore than that.  These next cooler nights should keep that ice around a bit longer.

Myself and Cbice were the others out there and we did well also, we managed a little over 2 buckets. I think that will be my last trip out there for the year as Vt Matt said the ice was pretty good but shores are going to be bad in the next couple days.

Those are some TANKS Pickerelslayer!! Sounds like everyone had a good day of fishing today despite the rainy morning. Great way to end the ice season...

Yeah Perchbait there were a few good ones, the average size was better this week than last. I may venture out after some pike this weekend if the ice is ok in some of the smaller bays but definitely all done in deeper water. Good luck to everyone still fishing and be safe.

WHER ARE THAY BUYING WHITE PERCH IN ST.A ORSWANTON

J & S Fisheries - 1914 Dunsmore Rd.  Swanton, VT
You'll see a sign up front that says "we buy fish"
Not sure what his hours are or what days he is open, but that's where my Dad and I were able to sell our load of fish.

Collectively, Jim, his kid and I hauled off 150lbs. My contribution shown below

Nice haul NHHardwater, it was nice to meet you briefly. Seemed like the rain made them bite better and as soon as it stopped they kind of slowed up a little for us but we had enough for freezer so we packed it up.

They slowed for me after you guys left and I started searching until the guy in the twisted tea shanty called me over and said he was on them all day and they were still there.  Polished off my 3rd bucket and headed home after chatting with the guy (almost a 3 hour drive for him, he  was from NH!)

They are there, but small schools. Not really worth the drive just for whites.
Imo.
