Propane engine oil 0w40
« on: Dec 28, 2017, 09:48 AM »
Hey guys was wondering what is everyones opinion on running say a mobil 1 or a castrol 0w40.  Its more readily available and can get it for a much better price.  I cant see a reason not to use it but dont want to hurt the engine either.

I'm running mobil 1 in my jiffy pro4 lite.these are just ordinary 4 strokes running on propane and no need for special oil.but change it out often. major by product of burning propane is water and the crankcase oil in these collects it.so change out before storing away for the season.

Amsoil makes a good oil for small 4 strokes if you have a dealer close to you.
It seems to go from zero to hero all some have to do is lie.
