Lowrance Ice Kits

I have a Lowrance 334c with the internal gps for my boat and I have seen ice kits for Lowrance FF, anyone tried these kits???

I have the same unit but i did not have it on the ice yet
I got it few months ago with winter and summer kit , used it on the boat and i love it
Cant wait to take it on ice

I have a 332c that I've used on ice for two seasons..  Personally I think the ice kit is a bit over priced for what you get.  I bought the ice ducer and a clearance vex soft pak, made my own base all (bag, transducer, battery & charger) for $90, but I think the ice ducer might have gone up a few bucks this year.  IMO, well worth it.

What chip are you using in the unit?  I have a 334c and want to buy a chip?
