2 - 20 Inch Channel Cats

...Not my favorite fish species, but nonetheless, fun to catch thru the ice.

and good eating if you know how to cook them.

What I find fascinating about channel catfish is they prefer water temps in the 80's but are fairly active under the ice.
I live in the midwest now but have fond memories of fishing in New England as a kid.

I love catching channels.  A local lake had plenty of them but I have no idea how to get them thru the ice.
