Title: Lamprey River
Post by: Steve01987 on Jan 12, 2019, 03:49 PM
Lamprey river was good today. About 20 fish between my cousin and I. All perch and pickerel and one nice bass. So cold it was a lot of work clearing 12 holes from freezing over today. 8in holes turned into 6in by the end of the day. Here's the bass from today.

Did you catch them through the ice. I know a lot of guys get trout in the lamprey. I've only caught one through the ice though and it was a Brown. But i fish the boat launch in Newmarket and I'm not sure there's too many trout there.

Both through the ice, spring and summer.
