Title: First day of Ice fishing in Abitibi
Post by: RedfishHunter on Dec 14, 2014, 10:31 AM
First day out on the ice ''check''
It was a slow day but none the less, we were out on the ice at lac Dufault near Rouyn-Noranda.
The weather was 2 celcius and sunny for the most part.
Can't wait for the Christmas holidays.
There's so many lakes in this area and since we are new to this area...this is going to be a SUPER cool winter on the ice.

Report from Rouyn Noranda  2014-12-21 Lac Dufeault, 1 foot of ice walleye bitting at dusk and dawn.
The weather was mild first part of the week 0c and second part got back to minus 25c
we are expecting a warm front coming in with snow Christmas week.
I will be on Kenojevis this coming week if weather allows us to get on the ice.
