Best weekend of fishing ever

A small group of us headed to Vermont this weekend for some laker fishing on lake x.
Saturday-50 lakers landed,3 monsters at 17.6lbs,19.5lbs and 20.4lbs.
Sunday 5 lakers 1 absolute monster caught by Dens whitetail 43.5 inch 28.2lbs (on certified scales) which could become a
new state record threw the ice.Just an amazing weekend!
I will try to get the pics up monday night..This is not a joke......
      Just watching the 28lb laker swim by the hole is a sight I will never forget.

Armand just sent me the picture of the monster...HOLY COW...what a pig. Sounds like you guys got your stuff together...awesome weekend, great fish.

I'm pretty sure the record through the ice is a little over 29lbs. Caught out of Caspian a few yrs back.

If these were caught in Vermont why didnt you enter the Derby? You would have just about paid for your trip with those fish. 1st 2nd and 3rd no problem
