Probably the best place to buy the XL is Amazon

I wouldn't want someone being towed behind me with his finger on the trigger, LOL

Would keep someone from coming to close to your hole though.............

And that Ma Duece would sure open up a hole fast. ;D
All joking aside, with what they charge for sleds nowadays, I'd whip up a smitty or fix that old one up...it can't be totally unfixable. Just my .02

I've gone the other way the past buncha years. Down to a small-ish sled and a Dewalt/K-drill setup. Super easy to pull on foot and always in the Tahoe for spur-of-the-moment fishing. Makes me go more because of less load-up and prep.
Doesn't answer your question but gave me a reason to post. Its hot here right now and sitting on my bucket on ice sounds so good. I had to see what my ice brethren are up to. ;D

Same here.i have downsized my gear load over the years.

I have been searching for a large sled to make a home made knock off of the old Bay Runners. They seem to be impossible to find. I have an old Shappell DX 3000 and my plan was to install the rails on a big sled and buy a new cover for the DX 3000. Then cut out the hatch cover holes and pimp it out. The biggest I found was the Jet Sled Magnum, but it seems pretty hard to find online. It was 44" x 71".

And here I always looked for smaller and lighter..............

Really like the Otter pro large but shipping is alot. Hopefully places will have them in stock closer to the season. Need it to transfer people to the ice, Wisconsins no passenger 4 wheeler law.
-
why not just pull a chain of sleds? a huge sled is harder to manage loading and storing.

If you're "pulling" it behind a sled then https://eqnx.biz/product-category/cargo-sleds/ (https://eqnx.biz/product-category/cargo-sleds/)
