Always one of the last to freeze. Highland was only 3 to thin ice in first cove Saturday

Any updates for West Hill?  It has been very cold and I'm guessing that there may be some safe ice there. :tipup:

I saw a report yesterday. There looked to be about an inch or a little more where this guy was checking.

Fished there yesterday. 2/23. Ice getting soft on top. Only 3” firm ice left   Wouldn’t go on it today.

I was out on Sunday in the blue clam hut, 100 yrds from the boat launch.   In the morning we had about 4-5 inches; by noon I could scrape off the top 1 1/2 with my boot. Don't think there's gonna be much safe ice today.
