Parker Pond - Mount Vernon

Anyone fish Parker Pond in the Mount Vernon area?   Going to try to hit it this weekend, going on the lake from the North side.   Would like to target some Brookies if anyone has advise on where to get them.  Fished it last year and didnt have much luck... Couple of small Salmon   :tipup:

Fish it often. Last weekend 2 nice brookies, 1 good salmon and a big ugly cusk. I usually fish the southern end, but there are a lot of islands over by the boat launch that you would think hold some good fish. Shallow and rocky in there. Brookies are usually caught in 8 to 12 ft of water. Good luck!

6 or 7 black ice easy. Prob more that it melted the crap ice on top and refroze this week.

That's great, yes that warm weather on Saturday really did a number on the slush on top.
