Title: We Catching' Two-
Post by: SLAYERFISH on Nov 22, 2022, 11:01 AM
1st Ice trip.  Landed 6 bows from 4-6.21 lbs.    The new Auger 2904/8" lite-flite worked awesome!  35 holes thru 7" ice and still 4 bars on battery. It cuts so fast the drill never even torques on your wrist. Hands down the best auger I/ve ever used. EVER- ;D

Great stuff! Jealous AF.

In laws sold their place in SW Colorado, so doesn't look like I'll be fishing there anytime soon  :(

Been there a couple times in the summer. Caught a variety of trout at higher altitude, and some bass and kokanee lower down. They had a place on trout lake near Telluride, and then on Wilson Mesa near Placerville.

My older son ice fished there a few times, he did quite well on a smaller pond, as well as on Miramonte.

Still slaying them on the boat covering water.  Got most open water lakes to myself.  I love it.  Still waiting for hardwater but not complaining.

I'd be doing the same if not for the ice lid! ;D

Nice! No complaints on my 2804 setups with Nils or Nero but do Ya think the special sauce is 2904 or the Lite Flite?
Ice poppin' down there?

Nice going slayer fish, those are fat rainbow trout. @)

I also have a electric ice auger, the first old ion that came out. I love that you don't have to worry about spilling gas in the vehicle anymore, it's light wight and quit. :)
