Not new this year, actually.... AD & I saw those at Fish 307 in Lake George 2 years ago, and I've got a white ice in my box. Perhaps they were using them as a test market.
-
i picked some up here is wisconsin last year
-
I picked up the black, nickle, orange, pink and white ice last year at Sportsmans warehouse. The fish thought the colors were great too!
-
Looks like buying from Canada will be a hassle, no CC from outsite the USA.
Cool colors though!

Ok, i just bought some Swedish Pimples today at Wal-Mart. They are a size 4 I think, anyway, you tip them with a worm, wax worms, or minnow or what? Sorry, but have never used one before.
-
Have caught more fish through the ice with Swedish Pimples than anything else!! The best lure when ice fishing!!
-
I catch more fish with kastmasters, but have and use several pimp's. Sometimes they kick butt. I like to put half a mealie or tiny piece of crawler on 1 of the treble barbs. Hook the worm in the very tip to ensure the worm hangs straight down.
-
I used to use pimples a lot more than I do these days. I always liked to swap out the treble for the single hook that came with. Definitely a proven ice fishing lure, which can be tipped with just about anything depending on target fish.
-
That was going to be my next question, treble or regular hook. You guys are great- anyone else?
-
for perch i usually use a treble hook but not the one that came with it i use smaller trebles just my 2 cents
-
Trebbles are nice until you pin their lips together. :-[
-
I usually opt for the single hook, but have found use some spoons loading all three trebs with a mousie or spike is the ticket.
Once again being flexible and willing to change presentation is a key. Why keep things the same unless they are biting strong. If it slows down sometimes all ya need is a change!
-
All this talk of single hooks? do the pimples you have bought come with one? I have only ever seen trebels

In the States, the smaller (at least) sizes come standard with a single and a treble, along with both a red and yellow flipper.
-
Hmmmm....I have on occassion found them with both the yellow and red flippers but never with a single hook....Does anyone use a dropper or straight attach the single hook
-
I've switched most of my Pimples over to the single hook.
-
I swung into my local Dick's Sporting goods tonight and was browwsing the ice fishing stuff. I was looking for pimples and found some way down in a lower corner. On Sale $1.47, bought a bunch of em'.
-
That's cheap. Sportsmans Warehouses regular price I know beat Wal-Marts regular price.
-
For perch and eyes tipped with perch eye or minnow head. Sometimes snapped hard sometimes just lift and drop let the fish tell you what they want. If you mark fish but no takers try a different color or presentation. slowly lifting them can trigger strikes when fish are marked.
-
For perch I like the trebble hook. It can be a little more of a pain getting it out of the fish. But I like putting a maggot on all three hooks. That way it usually last for at least 6 fish or so befor I have to rebait.
-
hey guys im new here and i got a question. how much does the flipper really matter?
-
I fish my Pimples with and with out the flippers.
I also change the hooks to droppers about 1.5" seems to be best tip, that with a 3" emerald , perch and Waleyes watch out.
