Went to Holmes Lake in Lincoln about 8 this morning. Main basin is open, but there's about 1 1/2 inches of clear ice on the east side near the softball fields. Drilled 4 test holes in various areas, and it's pretty consistent throughout. Smaller ponds should be fishable before next weekend!
