Title: pawnee county roads
Post by: fred baumann on Dec 24, 2008, 02:40 PM

fished burchard this morning. windy, with just enough snow cover to bank the tent.
6 inches of ice. bite was very slow, fished 9 'til noon caught MAYBE a dozen bluegills
most were small. very light bite ( wax worms / jigs). gate is locked until goose season is closed
lots of weeeds / grass / snow to drag you sled thru. uphill both ways.
be advised that all county & township roads in this area are icey with a small amount of powder
snow over the top of that, so use your own best judgement if you are heading that way.
p.s. watched two coyotes cross the west end of the lake, then hunt that weedy draw.
sorry, no pictures.
