I looked at a couple lakes yesterday and they looked fish able. I'll try this morning in a couple hours and check the ice! I've got 10 degrees right now and should be tightening stuff up again! Later Hex

Did the past couple cold days do much for the ice in northeast indiana?

Just got a place on Big Long Lake.  Wife and I were going up tomorrow to look at the house again.  Thought about taking ice gear, is there safe ice anywhere in the north end?

Thought maybe I might try Nyona/S.Mud Sat so I called the lake restaurant and talked to the baitshop owner. Said he's not open yet maybe April 1st and he'd not seen anyone on either lakes this winter. So I guess its a no go.
