Title: Double dang
Post by: Ouzel on Mar 25, 2020, 01:09 PM
I am currently on day 8 of a 14 day CDC self quarantine because of international travel and was looking forward to making the usual late season pilgrimages to Jackson lake in my ongoing quest for large lake trout as soon as my quarantine ended.

And wham, the NPS closes the doors, so no access.

I have a couple other late season lakes in the arsenal, but they are either considerable road distance and or a long snowmobile ride.

You guys stay safe and have fun, what better way to spend the time socially and physically distancing than alone on the ice.

Best,
Ouzel

Jackson Lake had just started to pick up too! Fished Slide the last two days and have one 10” cutty to brag about. Fished the Dubois lakes 3 weeks ago and decided I wouldn’t go back without a power auger. 30”+ of glacier-solid ice. Easy getting around though. Hoping to get to Fremont before they lock us inside. I ice fish with the point of being socially distant. You would think the state would encourage it!
